Don't get tricked by the sunshine and the palmetto trees. It can be really cold in South Carolina! Unfortunately I'm finding this out the hard way. Two nights ago I was freezing in my motel room (who needs warm blankets anyway). This morning the ground was covered with frost! What do we learn from that? When you travel to South Carolina in February bring warm clothes!
